So what exactly is a whole foods plant-based diet?🌱

It's a diet based on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes. It excludes or minimizes meat (including chicken and fish), dairy products, and eggs, as well as highly refined foods like bleached flour, refined sugar, and oil.

If one were to exclude meat then this would obviously be considered a vegan diet. Sometimes I term my recipes as vegan but bear in mind that one could definitely be a junk food vegan (for example, Oreos are vegan!) but that junk would be excluded from a whole foods plant-based diet.
