Tastes so good but is so bad for our bodies! Need convincing?
Have no fear, this substitute tastes pretty darn close to the real deal. Especially when topped with guacamole and pico.

I like my queso with some zing🔥, hence the jalapenos which could of course be omitted.
I'm telling you, you're going to look at these ingredients and say "no way" but you have to give it a try.

Plant-Based "Queso"
(vegan, dairy-free)
INGREDIENTS:
-2 cups cooked and peeled potatoes (if you have a good food processor you can omit peeling. Peeling is really so it looks more like cheese. Mine in the pic is speckled due to not peeling.)
-3/4 cup cooked carrots
-1/2 cup nutritional yeast
-1 TBSP lemon juice
-1/2 cup warm water
-1 1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 cup jarred jalapenos (check ingredients to make sure there isn't a lot of junk)
-1/8 cup jalapeno juice
DIRECTIONS:
1. Throw in a food processor and blend! If it comes out too thick, add a tad more water.
